Pashi (tribe)

The Pashi are an ethnic group considered to be a Hazara tribe in Afghanistan; they are found Jaghori and Malistan districts. The group may not be originally Hazara, but possibly a Pashtun group which has been assimilated by the Hazara.[1] Other researchers, however, believe the Pashi to be among the Hazara directly descended from Genghis Khan's troops.[2]
